SCP-682 is a reptile-like creature, described as one of the Foundation's most hostile and dangerous anomalies. It exhibits an ability to regenerate from any form of injury or damage, no matter how devastating, except from one specific acid. It is referred to as the 'Hard-to-Kill Reptile', due to its almost indestructible nature. SCP-682 is highly intelligent, capable of speech and seems to possess a deep and profound disdain for humanity. Its primary goal appears to be survival and the elimination of threats, particularly the Foundation and all forms of life. Its dislike for all forms of life makes it constantly hostile, even when not directly threatened. Due to its resilience, it is kept contained within an inaccessible chamber constantly bathed in acid, where it can be observed and tested safely.
