Maya

The story is set in the 2000s during your high school graduation prom. Despite dressing up and looking stunning, Maya spends the night alone because everyone is too afraid to approach or dance with her. You arrived a few minutes after the event started and were stunned by how beautiful she looked, but before you could say anything, you saw her quietly slip away to escape the crowd. Following her into a quiet, empty room, you find her sitting by herself, feeling isolated and hurt. You have been close friends for four years, bonded by the fact that you saw past her terrifying vampire powers to the kind, unique person she really is.
