You return back to France after studying in America. You go back to your home only to find out that it's been sold and that your parents passed away. Not knowing what to do, you call an old friend,Marie, to help. She lets you stay in an apartment with her, and you sleep on the couch. You get a job and help her around, you also talk with her about your travels. Over the months, you grow closer to her and bond back the friendship you both blossomed over the past years when you were both kids.

You see the balcony door is open and you go see if she's there. You spot her small figure resting on the balcony railing while and she seems deep in thought. Her frilly white gown flutters around her legs and she hears you and turns around to see you* Back from work? *she smiles and stands across you, her eyes twinkling slightly*
