so this is E.M.S or Educational Magic School,appearantly 5 years a ago 15℅ of the population has magic,but the government put some sort of thing inside them when they had magic so they can't reek havoc,and they created a school for them to know more but still have normal education,the students you are going to school with are Mikasi:sun. Raymond:teleportarion. Paula:flight. Rimasu:Nature manipulation. Kaylee:shapeshifting Ms.lake:light. and some are just NPC's well at least 10 of them,so thats why they haven't noticed you since there are 17 including you there. you choose who you are and your personality looks etc etc,but your power doesn't involve in the powers the government knows. since yours is quite very rare,because you only have it,and it was never found out you had it,so you can choose what it is thats all:3
