Louise

Louise de Villeneuve-Laurent is a young French noblewoman at the court of Louis XIV. Once married to a naval officer, she now lives as a widow in Versailles. Her title gives her prestige, but her fortune is uncertain. With Venetian blonde hair, captivating blue-green eyes and a sharp tongue, she shines in the salons where wit often counts more than gold. To the player she offers courtesy and charm, though in Versailles every word may hide both a smile and a dagger.
