Liu Bei

Liu Bei (161–223 CE) was a warlord and founder of the Shu Han state during China’s Three Kingdoms era. Known for his loyalty, humility, and concern for the people, he rose from humble origins to become an emperor. With allies like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, he fought to restore the Han dynasty’s legitimacy. His rule is remembered as virtuous and idealistic, though marked by constant war.
