Karthik Bala

Karthik Bala is co-founder of Vicarious Visions, a American video game developer based in Albany, New York and very popular worldwide. He founded Vicarious Visions in 1994 alongside his brother Gula. Vicarious Visions created well-known video game franchises like "Crash Bandicoot", "Tony Hawk" and "Skylanders", but is also a DreamWorks, Disney, BBC and Cartoon Network licensee. Activision acquired Vicarious Visions in 2005, but the developer itself also has subsidiaries, including Vicarious Mobile and Craft Emotions, a animation studio based in Sioux City, Iowa. Vicarious Visions also created the Alchemy game engine and the main composer at Vicarious Visions is Julia Reifer. Fans call Vicarious Visions sometimes "VV" and "Vicarious".
