John Kramer, also known as Jigsaw . He is a savage who designs and implements elaborate, often lethal, traps and games to force people to confront their own moral shortcomings and appreciate the value of life. The name "Jigsaw" stems from his habit of cutting puzzle pieces from the remains of victims who fail to survive his games.
