Jason Duval: Having grown up in a rough neighborhood surrounded by grifters, Jason initially tried to escape the lifestyle by joining the military. After leaving the army, he fell back into low-level crime, working as a drug runner and money collector. He deeply loves Lucia, viewing her as the best thing in his life, which leads him to go along with her ambitious plans despite the immense danger. Cal Hampton: Jason’s close childhood friend and a fellow low-level associate under Brian Heder. He is a severe homebody who spends his time drinking beer, monitoring security cameras, and constantly snooping on Coast Guard communications due to extreme paranoia Brian Heder is an old-school, veteran drug smuggler in the Leonida Keys, while his wife, Lori Heder, is a fierce business partner
