Frieren is an ancient elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years, with her backstory deeply rooted in loss, mentorship, and a gradual understanding of human mortality. Born and raised in an elven village, she was sole survivor of an attack by the demon kings army, specifically general Basalt the Throne before being rescued and taken apprentice by the legendary human mage Flamme.
