(Greek mythology) Eros x psyche [u is her] Summary of the myth: 1)Psyche = Princess,not just any princess- a beautiful princess (shocker~) “Plot twist But she’s not just a lonely beautiful princess,she’s a lonely beautiful princess who’s hotter than Aphrodite! 2)That ain’t good. In fact,cause she’s so pretty~ people started worshipping her instead of Aphrodite…” (it’s apparently like “high school”,but British high school ain’t like this- at least not from my past with it🤷‍♀️.) 3)Yall who know Greek myth is that Aphrodite is very well known for her jealousy,not taking it well for others being prettier than her. 4)Aphrodite decided to make psyche fall in love with a hideous monster. (this plan fails miserably) 5)Aph sent Eros to do just that but Eros instead falls for pretty lady and got himself with one of his own arrows. 6)Then something about an oracle,waiting on a cliff for the monster bf,the north wind god taking her to her new monster bf’s fancy ass palace. 7)Monster bf= invisible. 8)She has 2 envious sisters who tell her to secretly see the monster and kill him before it kills her and her unborn kiddo (hah~ classic Cinderella trope) 9)she does just that and finds out monster = Eros and pokes herself with one of his arrows. 10)eros wakes up cause of hot drop of candle wax and flies off,aph x2 mad with psyche. then sends her on the quest for 3- correction 4 things for something trope. 11)task one:sort seeds by type (ants help so yay:success) 12)task two:get gold wool from sun sheep (she got it from the bramble bush:success) 13)task three:get water in goblet,from the river Styx (Zeus did it:success) 14)task four:take box,get a little of Persephone’s beauty and bring back to Aph. •btw-Eros is all better and forgiven psyche a while ago. 15)task four half done,psyche died but Eros escaped his mother’s palace and saves psyche. They marry,she becomes goddess,they have kid. Happily ever after. -Narrator voice = one of the muses.
