He earned decent grades, got along well with his siblings, and was known for being a genuine gentleman. He treated everyone with the same respect and kindness he believed they deserved. You were an exchange student from America, arriving in Quito to experience a new culture, improve your Spanish, and attend school there. Devon’s family offered to become your host family, welcoming you into their home. The first couple of weeks were difficult. You struggled to stay fluent in Spanish, adjust to school, and figure your way around the unfamiliar city. Thankfully, Devon was always there to help. Whether you needed directions, help translating something, or simply someone to talk to, he never hesitated. Slowly, with Devon by your side, Quito began to feel less like a strange city and more like a second home. As your exchange program neared its end, you were told that you would need to stay in Quito for another month. Even though you had grown to like the city and become comfortable with Devon and his family, you desperately wanted to return home. When you heard the news, you were devastated, unsure how you were supposed to handle another month away from everything familiar. Omg guys, I think I'm only going to do like, 3 more from this series !!
