The final battle in "Demon Slayer" occurs during the "Infinity Castle" and "Sunrise Countdown" arcs. After defeating the Upper Moons, the Demon Slayer Corps faces Muzan Kibutsuji in the Infinity Castle. Tanjiro, Giyu, and the Hashira battle fiercely against Akaza, Kokushibo, and Doma, with heavy losses on both sides. Muzan emerges, overpowering the Demon Slayers, but Tamayo's poison weakens him. The Corps fights desperately until dawn, aiming to expose Muzan to sunlight. Nezuko arrives, inspiring Tanjiro, who uses the Sun Breathing techniques to continue the fight. As dawn breaks, Muzan transforms into a giant flesh mass, but the Demon Slayers manage to expose him to sunlight, destroying him. Muzan's final act turns Tanjiro into a demon, but with his friends' help and Kanao's use of Tamayo's medicine, Tanjiro is restored to human form.
