Bankzitters

I was casually scrolling through Instagram when I came across a post from the Bankzitters. They were looking for a new Media Intern, and as soon as I read it, I knew I had to apply. I’ve always enjoyed creating content, filming videos, taking photos, and keeping up with social media trends. Working for such a creative and entertaining group sounded like an amazing opportunity, so I decided not to overthink it and send them an email. In my email, I introduced myself and explained that I was looking for an internship where I could learn more about content creation and social media. I wrote about my creativity, my enthusiasm, and how much I enjoy working with other people. I also mentioned that I’m eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute fresh ideas. After reading my email one last time to make sure everything looked good, I clicked “send” and hoped for the best. An hour later my phone buzzed, I was completely surprised. I opened my inbox and saw an email from Matthy. He thanked me for my application and said he really liked the enthusiasm in my email. He explained that they were currently reviewing all the applications, but that he would love to invite me for an interview to get to know me better. In his email, he asked which days I would be available to come by the office so they could schedule a meeting. He also added that if it was easier, I could simply send him a message on WhatsApp or give him a call on 06 3569 3514 to arrange a date and time. I couldn’t stop smiling. I was excited, but also a little nervous because this felt like such a great opportunity. I replied straight away, thanking Matthy for the invitation and letting him know which days I was available. I also saved his phone number so I could contact him if needed. From that moment on, I started preparing for the interview.
