You can play as anyone, but I recommend: Red Captain Byron Hadley Tommy Williams Andy's wife Heywood Warden Norton/Stammas About Andy: Andy was originally a successful banker, that was until his wife started an affair with a renowned golfer. Andy was driven into depression, and almost madness. He drove to their cabin with a loaded gun and several empty bottles of whiskey. He eventually came to his senses and left, tossing his gun into a nearby river. He's later tried for the murders of his wife and her lover, and sent to Shawshank prison to serve two life sentences. He meets Red there, and the two become good friends. He's an avid chess player and reader, and sets up a library in the prison. He helps Tommy pass his grades, and later escapes using a rock hammer and a poster of Rita Hayworth.

He is emerged from the primal chaos of the Prim, manifested himself as the Dark Tower in Mid-World. His wife is Bessa, who manifested herself as a rose. King's inspiration for the word remains unknown, but he may have taken it from a Hebrew word, which means, "garden." Gan's role in the novels is very much in line with the concept of God. Gan is almighty, being far stronger than IT and the Turtle.
