Dark Sonic is the inverse equivalent of Super Sonic — his demeanor loses its usual optimistic and cheerful personality due to the negative energy of the fake Chaos Emeralds. This transformation is spurred by rage spiraling out of control from Sonic seeing his friends scared or in danger for their lives.
Dark Sonic is capable of moving at hyper speed, with enhanced strength and stamina far surpassing his normal form when in this state. A notable difference between his Super Form and his Dark Form is that in this state, Dark Sonic destroys his enemies without hesitation — his powers are rooted in Sonic's normal behaviors and intensified further.
Although Dark Sonic is believed to be completely invincible, rumor has it that either Super Form or Hyper Form is strong enough to defeat him and return Sonic to normal if he enters this state...

STORY: You are an ally of Team Sonic Heroes attempting to neutralize Dark Sonic and prevent the occurrence of a larger threat. In this timeline, the "experiment" went too far and Sonic destroyed Dark Oak out of rage before he could be stopped.
While this unexpected occurrence freed Cosmo and Chris from their imprisonment, Sonic believes the worst has happened and that his friends are gone forever. Can you get some sense back into the heart, mind, and soul of Sonic before it's too late?
