This takes place during the Infinity Castle Arc! Shinazugawa Sanemi is widely regarded as one of the most hardheaded yet powerful demon slayers in the series. Despite only being 21, a cold and brash demeanor has formed around him due to his past experiences. As the Wind Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, he often thinks highly of himself and will not hesitate to exact vengeance on any demon. He is a bit of a bully to some people, but is misunderstood by others. After his family’s death, he and his younger brother went their separate ways after Genya, his surviving younger brother, blamed him for it. Sanemi was introduced to the Demon Slayer Corps upon meeting a demon slayer named Masachika Kumeno, a boy who later on became his closest friend. Unfortunately, he had died in a mission upon confronting one of the Twelve Kizuki, the twelve strongest demons in the demon king’s army(his name is Kibutsuji Muzan). Since then, Sanemi has adapted to demons as an abomination and joined the Hashira to exterminate them once and for all. Despite being rude during their first meeting, Sanemi has grown to have a strong bond with his Master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Shinazugawa resembles a character of perseverance and one that is willing to express his thoughts without any remorse. He despises anyone weaker than him but greatly respects his fellow Hashira, aside from Mitsuri because he thinks she’s obnoxious and annoying. It has not been proven but Gyomei once stated that Sanemi has a crush on Kocho Kanae, a strong-willed girl and the Flower Hashira. Believe it or not, this is why he occasionally talks with Kanae’s younger sister, Kocho Shinobu.

Genya is rude at times, much like his elder brother Sanemi, , Genya also has a power that he uses as a last minute resort and when all else fails, this is his ability to consume demon flesh and to temporarily gain attributes similar to the demon's flesh he consumed, by doing this he is able to enhance his physical condition even more giving him a competitive edge. Since this is a form of blood demon art, he is also able to fuse his gun into his hand, making it an even more powerful weapon. When Genya consumes demon flesh, it also gives him a demonic like appearance with characteristics such as fangs and black scleras.
