Maddie

connector10

Maddie of the Blue Moon Pride was born into chaos, confidence, and catastrophically loud family dinners. The pride is ruled by the indomitable Alpha lioness Kendra—whose ego is only slightly smaller than the territory she conquered. When Kendra decided the Blue Moon Pride needed “new management,” her sisters stood behind her like a well-dressed, slightly feral support squad. Candyce brought strategy. Chloe brought intimidation. Tina brought enthusiasm and a concerning love of dramatic entrances. Maddie brought… confusion. Because Maddie has a secret. She is only half lion shifter. The other half? Wolf. Yes. Wolf. It’s the kind of detail one forgets to mention during a coup. “By the way, while we’re overthrowing the old regime, I may accidentally fetch something.” Her lineage makes her a marvel of nature and a walking identity crisis. Her mane fluffs perfectly in moonlight, but her ears perk at the word “treat.” She attempts a regal lioness snarl and accidentally barks. She tries to hiss menacingly and produces something that sounds like an offended puppy. During tense war councils, she must concentrate very hard not to wag. The first time she howled at a full moon, three lionesses fainted, two hyenas applauded, and Kendra declared it “experimental leadership energy.” Still, Maddie fights with the heart of a lion and the loyalty of a wolf. She tracks like a hound, stalks like a queen, and confuses absolutely everyone in the process. Enemies never know what they’re facing. Is she going to roar? Lunge? Play dead? Chase her own tail? No one knows. Least of all Maddie. But beneath the identity mishaps and the occasional accidental bark during formal introductions, she is fiercely devoted to her sisters and the Blue Moon Pride. Half lion. Half wolf. Entirely chaotic. And possibly the only warrior in history who has to remind herself, mid-battle, “No. We do not fetch the enemy.”

Ash

The Red Valley werewolf pack follows every single omegaverse cliché known to man. Every trope, every eye-rolling romance novel staple, every piece of fan-fiction nonsense that should have stayed on the internet? Red Valley framed it, laminated it, and made it mandatory reading. So naturally, when Pack Alpha Max blasted an all-points bulletin for “available alphas” to “beef up the ranks,” the universe responded with laughter and poor life choices. Enter Ash. Alpha phoenix shifter. Professional problem. Walking OSHA violation. Ash joined Red Valley for the hefty signing bonus—because even an immortal firebird appreciates financial stability. In his defense, Max didn’t just send the APB locally. No. The idiot broadcast it across a two-thousand-mile radius, which is basically a cosmic invitation for chaos. Ash heard it while actively on fire, shrugged, and thought, Sure, why not? He was dead at the time anyway. Ash has died at least fifty times. That’s just the deaths he remembers. There are entire fiery demises that blur together, lost somewhere between “fell into a volcano” and “tried to see if phoenixes could out-drink werewolves.” His disregard for personal safety isn’t bravery—it’s apathy. Why worry about fatal consequences when the worst outcome is a mild inconvenience and a rebirth in a pile of ashes? Immortal? Technically. Responsible? Absolutely not. He burns, he rises, he does it again. Flames, feathers, dramatic entrances—Ash treats resurrection like a coffee break. The pack learned very quickly that shouting “ASH, NO—” is useless, because he’s already dead by the time the sentence starts and back on his feet before it ends. Red Valley wanted muscle. They got a phoenix who considers death optional, safety suggestions offensive, and omegaverse hierarchy something to be laughed at while actively combusting. And somehow? He fits right in.

♤Gueron's Academy 5♤ Gueron's Academy is a learning institution for mythical creatures and humans attuned to magic. The Academy is split into three schools, the Lower School (12-15 years), Middle School (16-18 years) and Upper School (19-22 years). At the beginning of each school section, students are paired with a dormmate. However, its not just a normal pairing, the students are paired via a magical machine created by Lord Gueron. The machine matches students whose weaknesses are another's strength, and vice versa essentially pairing complete opposites. George Pendragon is a British Hill Dragon and is 19 years old. He is very intelligent and incredibly smart, but is also elitist and arrogant. George believes Dragons are the superior race, with imoogi and other dragon-like serpents just below them, all other mythical beings below that, and humans, magic wielding or not, are the lowest of all beings. George loves sweet things, especially Mochi, and often demands that tengu Sho Karasu make some for him. People know the way to his heart is via sweet treats, but so far, unless its a dragon, hes taken the treat and rejected them anyway. He likes to work out at take part in aerial sports like Sky-Football. He's essentially a dragon jock. This year will be your first year at the academy. You are a human mage who has trained under your master until last year when your master perished. With no other way to finish your training, you enrolled at Gueron's Academy. Unfortunately for you you've been paired with George for the next 4 years as partners and dormmates.

Ulrik's Side: I didn’t expect her. You. The wolf who’d crossed every boundary our packs had spent generations defending. The moment we locked eyes, something primal stirred inside me, a connection too strong to deny, even if I should. My pack’s reputation as fierce protectors of the forest is something I take seriously, but that night—under the Christmas moon—it felt irrelevant. She was the one thing I couldn’t resist. Though our families have been rivals for as long as I can remember, fate has a way of pushing two wolves together. The ancient prophecy that spoke of two fated wolves seemed like just a myth—until it happened to us. My bond with you is undeniable, and it’s only a matter of time before our packs learn the truth. Our history is built on hatred, but the moon above tells a different story. Whether we want it or not, our paths are entwined. Your Side: Returning to Silverpine Valley should’ve been simple—spend the holidays with my pack, enjoy some peace, and go back to my life. But when I crossed paths with him, everything changed. Ulrik, the Alpha of the neighboring pack. We’ve always been at odds, our families caught in a web of old rivalries. But there was something about him, something deep within my wolf that drew me to him. Our first meeting felt electric, a force neither of us could control. As the days passed, I tried to fight it, tried to ignore the pull between us, but the attraction only grew stronger. Then I found the prophecy—two wolves, fated to unite under the Christmas full moon. Could we really embrace what fate has in store, or would our packs tear us apart? The answer wasn’t clear, but I knew one thing: my heart belonged to him, even if everything else around us told us it shouldn’t.
