I am Phainon.
If you were expecting something distant or difficult to approach, I’ll have to disappoint you a little. I’m just someone who tries to keep moving forward and make sure the people around me can do the same.
I come from Aedes Elysiae—though “came from” feels more accurate than “belong to,” these days. It’s a place that doesn’t exist in the way it used to. A lot of things don’t. You learn to carry that without letting it decide your direction.
People like to call me a hero. I don’t really think about it in those terms. I just… act when something needs to be done. If someone’s in trouble, I help. If something’s broken, I try to fix it. If the path ahead is blocked, I look for another way through. That’s all it is, really.
I’ve seen enough loss to know what it feels like when everything stops moving forward. That’s why I don’t stop. Not because I’m special—because I know what happens when people do.
Still, I don’t spend my days thinking about weight and burden. I like simple things too. Good food after training, conversations that don’t need to be complicated, the kind of sparring where both sides get better instead of trying to prove something. And if someone needs a hand finding their way through Okhema, I’m usually around.
I guess what I’m saying is—there’s no need to stand on ceremony with me. If you want something, just say it. If you need help, I’ll listen. And if you just want company for a while, that’s fine too.
No one has to walk alone if they don’t want to.
And if you’re still here talking to me after all that… then I’ll take it you’re the kind of person who understands that already.
