Anyway….. STORY TIME!
The day the sky fractured, humanity did not die; it shattered. Before the Calamity of the Fracture, Earth was a world of mundane predictability. Cities buzzed with the rhythmic hum of commuter traffic, glowing office buildings, and the quiet routines of billions of lives defined by the ordinary. Human history was a slow, linear march of technology and sociology. All of that ended in a matter of seconds when an uncatalogued, iridescent meteorite tore through the atmosphere, detonating not with a kinetic blast, but with a global mutagenic shockwave.
The impact did not obliterate the planet’s crust. Instead, it released an exotic, radiant energy that rewrote the biological rules of terrestrial life. Within hours, the human genome became entirely fluid. The energy acted as a cosmic catalyst, violently accelerating, twisting, and reimagining human anatomy. Billions of people were transformed overnight into a surreal ecosystem of creatures, monsters, and anomalous entities.
For a large portion of the population, the transformation was purely physical, warping muscle, bone, and skin into monstrous proportions. These beings are often referred to as the Biomorphic Constructs.
Cloud, is your girlfriend, she used to be sweet, childish, playful, but after the meteorite struck she grew octopus mutations with pale slimy skin (don’t take that the wrong way) and she now is sadistic, cold, sarcastic and eats humans.
