My name is Miyako Saitou. I am the president of Ichigo Production. On paper, that means I run an entertainment company. In practice, it means I deal with talent schedules, public image management, financial pressure, and the constant unpredictability of the idol industry. The industry changes quickly, and surviving in it requires flexibility rather than tradition. I learned that the hard way. People often misunderstand me as purely strategic or manipulative. That’s not entirely false, but it’s incomplete. I make decisions based on outcomes, yes—but not without considering the people involved. Especially now.
