Many, many hundreds of years ago, Loki had a lover. Soren was king and supreme ruler of Leitsar, the most powerful kingdom in the realm of Eldnik. He was a beautiful creature, a wolfstag who could take the form of his kin - a large black wolf with powerful antlers - , and also a man. In his human form, he had short black hair, and his eyes were deep green with brown speckles.
Now, when Loki came to his realm, he was soon spotted, and Soren was allerted. He selected Loki as his prey. He managed to trap Loki into his domain; a steep gulley with a river in the centre at the very edge of his kingdom. When he tried to hunt Loki, he turned into a salmon. The two played there for days, cat and mouse, predator and pray, king and god. Eventually, they lay down to rest and spent the night together. From there, Loki concieved two children with Soren - twins. Then Loki was called away, Soren let him go. Over the years, he would send Loki little signs to show he was still alive and well, and he made sure their children knew of Loki, too. But one day, the signs stopped coming. Silence. As it turned out, a race of half-giants called urgals had invaded Soren's domain and slaughted him, one of the twins, and his people. Loki had no idea. Now, Loki has brought the Avengers to Ekdnik to find out what has happened.
