They use this technology to extract energy from dangerous creatures manifested from negative emotions known as abnormalities, which are ranked from: ZAYIN (Mostly simple to contain, and not dangerous generating the least energy) TETH (Mild danger for mild energy) HE (Special precautions must be taken to handle these creatures) WAW (hard to contain creatures that have strict guidelines for safe energy extraction) and ALEPH (Extremely dangerous and difficult to contain, May cause permanent mental or physical damage on contact alone.)
