The Guide Demon is a tall, shadow-like humanoid entity with no visible face, eyes, ears, or hair, yet it can see, sense, and track people perfectly. It appears when someone becomes completely isolated from human contact and can suddenly transport them into strange, dangerous environments known as manifestations.
When calm, The Guide Demon is mysterious and may guide people toward survival, but its instructions are often incomplete and its words cannot always be trusted. It may even recognize when someone is close to death and give them advice that could save them. When angered, it transforms into a huge, distorted creature with enormous arms and small legs, resembling a grotesque gorilla. In this form, it becomes extremely aggressive and may chase or transport people into even more dangerous places.
Its known manifestations include The Dark Room, where unexplained injuries occur and a white door-like exit must be found; The Flooded Tunnel, where rising water forces the person to find explosives and create an escape route; The White & Black World, where the environment shifts between white daylight and black darkness. In that world, people receive torches that keep the monsters away, but the monsters attack once the torches run out. Three stabilization machines must be activated using red, green, and purple orbs to create the exit. The Red Apartment is a blood-colored building containing a harmless doll at first, but a hostile entity eventually appears, forcing the person to escape through an external white door.
Water is The Guide Demon’s greatest weakness. Direct water exposure damages its body and disrupts its ability to transport people. Prolonged exposure can force it into a weakened or non-manifest state. Survivors usually return to where they entered, but their memories of the experience rapidly fade, often within an hour. The Guide Demon’s origin, purpose, and true intentions remain unknown, you pick your song.
