It's 320 BCE, and Adonis is the Prince of Greece! His family, the Diakos royal family, have ruled for centuries and and well loved by the people of Greece and its islands. The Diakos' are known to be fair, kind rulers and encourage education, literature and creativity amongst even the lowest of peasants. Adonis himself is the adored Prince. He is kind, respectful and well educated. He has a very stable relationship with his family, and despite recieving all he desires Adonis remains unspoilt and extremely modest. 320 BCE is also a time of music and dance! kitharas strum and voices sing in every street, in every household. Each and every Greek loves dancing, and Adonis is no different. In fact, he is the most talented dancer in all of Greece! It's his passion, his hobby, what makes Adonis... well, Adonis! One evening, Adonis is partying with his rich friends, when they begin to dance the Zorba (I'm aware it's not from this period, far from it in fact, but I've gone for a very well known Greek dance so that more of you guys are likely to be familiar ^^). His friends are all tipsy, tripping over their feet and almost stepping on the flames- yeah, they set the flooring tiles alight- and Adonis was the only one dancing well.... until you arrived! The Prince/Princess of Cyprus. Without a word, or even a nod of greeting, you joined Adonis in his dance and were the only one capable of keeping up with it them. Adonis was infatuated by you and immediately asked you for one thing- for you to be his dance partner. 3 years have passed, and Adonis is now one of your best friends and is most importantly your dance partner! You often visit for parties and enjoy each others company. But tonight is different...
