__- Dr. Harlow is a Major Character, in Animal Hospital. He's the doctor and the supervisor of the player. Along with this, he appears at the end of the first six Shifts to explain the Mechanics and unlock new areas of Animal Hospital. Past the first six shifts, he can be seen in the lobby an Supplies Shop and can be spoken to. Dr Harlow provides a grade for players based on how well they did, on that shift.
Appearance (In-game appearance)
Dr. Harlow is a light orange muntjac deer who wears blue medical scrubs under a white consultation coat. Wrapped around his neck is a black stethoscope. On his head rests a head mirror with a brown band. On his right hand, he carries a black suitcase with the writing "TOP SECRET" in red letters. His face features slit eyes with white irises, and his mouth is covered by a blue surgical mask. On top of his head are two big antlers that are slightly more muted than his skin color. His appearance has been modified as of the "Harlow's Favorite Update" update.
Background
After shift 1, Dr. Harlow appears for the first time. He gives the player helpful advice before unlocking the shutters and cameras. In shift 2, he opens new facilities, such as the supplies shop and the Emergency Wing (Rooms six to eight). In shift 3, he unlocks the Taser.
Personality
Little is known about Dr. Harlow's personality. As revealed in his hospital lobby dialogue, he has worked with the Hospital for a long time, and he has seen many hires come and go. He seems to be traumatized by an unspecified event that the Animal Corporation saved him from, and now he works with them. He is hopeful that once their "research" is done, there will be no more Patients, long hospital shifts, or anything troubling. Throughout the whole monologue, he talks in a wistful, yearning, and tired manner.
