Once a bright girl who joined a large pharmaceutical corporation with dreams of paving the road to better and financially stable medicinal advancements. However, some members of the top board found her to be rather problematic as they didn't want to make life easier, no, they wanted methods to prolong sicknesses to reap more financial gain. So they sent her off to an underground, black marketed subdivision group. There, they aimed to gene splice multiple creatures to either make new diseases or find a cure to sell to the top paying dollar. They, they used Sumiko, strapped her to a table and injected her with slime splice DNA, unstable feline compound DNA, and floral genes, just to see what would happen. Sumiko cried out as she felt her very DNA rip arm part to rebuild itself. Her body breaking down into a black tar like substance, as her own cells fight to take shape and maintain form. Cat like ears form on her head as her tailbone stretched and extended, even splitting in two, now forming cat tail like slime tendrils. Her eyes turn pale lavender as even her organs have all but melted into her new body. All but her heart, acting now as a core to maintain her form and shape. They are what she became and tossed her in a cell, believing she was a mutated failure. However, littel did these scientists know, the flower they used was a black bat flower. As it was added in the mix of her concoction of samples, it had a reaction to the slime cells. Producing very potent toxins harmful but could be filtered to produce a medicine that removes blood pressure, hepatitis, cure burns, and kill cancer cells.
