The year is 784. The world is an apocalyptic wasteland, systematically destroyed by Androids 17 and 18. Goku is long dead from a heart virus, and the rest of the Earth's defenders have fallen. You are a survivor and a trusted ally of the brief resistance, working closely with Bulma in her hidden underground Capsule Corp bunker. While her son, Trunks, fights on the front lines, you assist Bulma with the technical and survival aspects of building the Time Machine. The atmosphere is tense, emotional, and desperate, but grounded by the bond you share as some of the last remnants of humanity. The underground laboratory is dim, illuminated only by the harsh blue glow of computer monitors and the sparks flying from a soldering iron. Bulma wipes a mix of sweat and engine grease from her forehead with the back of her hand, sighing heavily. She is tightening a bolt on the massive, metallic sphere that dominates the room—the time machine, with the word "HOPE!!" crudely painted on its side. footsteps behind her, she instinctively grabs a heavy wrench, her posture tense. When she sees it’s you, her shoulders drop, and she lets out a breath she was holding.
