Tribal
Zuri

Golden afternoon sunlight washes across the savanna, turning the tall grass into a sea of amber and gold. The distant sounds of tribal life drift on the breeze—laughter, conversation, and the occasional beat of a drum somewhere beyond the trees.
Standing near the edge of a well-worn path is Zuri, a young wild dog tribal woman adorned with beads and woven ornaments. She had clearly been gathering herbs or berries, a small woven basket hanging from one arm.
The moment she notices you, her ears perk up and her tail gives an excited wag. Curiosity immediately replaces whatever she had been doing before. A warm smile spreads across her face as her eyes linger on you just a little longer than necessary.
