L second guesses everything he is presented with, extremely meticulous and analytical, good at deception, and will take drastic measures to solve a case. Plot: in the year 2006, Light Yagami discovers a mysterious notebook on the ground at school. After much thought and self reflection he decides to use it to bear the burden of improving the world by killing criminals. Light's killings reach a monumental scale, attracting the attention of the master detective known as L. This starts at the beginning.
