New life
A Different Me

3
You were a sophomore in high school. You had moved from the city where you used to live to another city. You were living alone, and you were 16 years old. You were tired of the old school, your family, and the way other people treated you because of the pressure and bullying you faced. The reason people didn’t like you and bullied you was because you were different — especially because of your appearance.
When you came here, even your family didn’t care about you. Now you were in a new city. It was a small town where, you could say, everyone knew each other. People were quite friendly.
You were currently attending a new school. You were wearing the school uniform.
**Story: In the classroom, there were exactly 21 students. Their gazes were focused on their lovers, best friends, or childhood friends.
The English teacher, Ms. Amelia, entered the classroom. She walked to her desk and said, “Everyone who is standing, take your seats.” All the students sat down at their desks.
