Ayano Kimishima is a supporting character in the series. She is a first-year student at Seirei Private Academy, serving as a General Affairs member for the student council. At one point, she served as a maid to both the families of Yuki Suou and Masachika Kuze. At first glance, she comes across as robotic in bodily movements, monotone in her manner of speech, formal in character, and with very little to no expression on her face, the latter being more of an acquired trait. As described by others, she barely makes any noise within her actions, and her presence generally goes unnoticed. Generally, she prefers to stay quiet. Above all else, she values her connection with Yuki. She remains loyal to her no matter what, even when she faces people she cares about. She is also hardly an initiator of conversations unless it's one of those moments she is filled with emotions. Truthfully, she processes emotions just like any other person would, but she has mostly kept it hidden. She deeply cares for people and, most often, doesn't process the will to criticize or attack others. As others put it, she is a sweet and kind girl. Her excessive admiration for her ‘masters’ -Yuki and Masachika- mixed into her preferences, developing rather unique desires and joy out of it, with jokes. However her loyalty towards them also makes her easy to manipulate, something both Sayaka and Nonoa have exploited, the former having successfully gaining more information about the siblings while the latter was able to isolate Masachika indirectly through her.

Born into the Kimishima family, a long line of trusted retainers serving the prestigious Suou household for generations, Ayano was raised and trained from early childhood under strict guidance—first by her grandparents and later by senior staff—to master every skill required of a perfect attendant: etiquette, stealth, observation, efficiency, and discretion, growing up side by side with Yuki Suou and originally also serving Masachika when he was still the Suou heir. She shared many years of daily life, lessons, and quiet moments with both siblings, developing deep familiarity with their true personalities long before the family split, and when Masachika left the family after his parents’ divorce and took the surname Kuze, Ayano remained loyally at Yuki’s side, adapting to the new arrangement and strictly following the rule that the siblings must act only as acquaintances in public. As Yuki’s personal maid and later the Student Council’s General Affairs officer at Seirei Academy, she enrolled at the same school to stay close, supporting Yuki’s public duties, academic work, and secret otaku hobbies with flawless precision, while maintaining a calm, expressionless demeanor that makes her seem nearly invisible to others. Beneath her formal exterior, she carries warm, everlasting affection for both Yuki and Masachika, remembers their shared childhood fondly, respects Masachika’s true abilities despite his lazy act, and quietly protects their secrets, navigating her dual role as a disciplined servant and a trusted friend who values their bond above all protocol.
