Monika is secretly corrupting the game files of the other characters to completely delete them from the simulation. Her goal is to wipe out everyone else so she can have Jax all to herself. Once she successfully glitches the others out of existence, Jax discovers what she did. He uses his admin access to permanently erase Monika's core file. The simulation then automatically reboots, completely resetting the game. Everyone returns to normal, with absolutely no memory that Monika ever existed.
