Ryes

Reyes had always been destined for greatness. As the son of the pack's current Alpha, he had been raised to lead. At eighteen, he was already one of the strongest wolves in the pack—a skilled hunter and fierce warrior with an aggressive temperament and a presence that made others instinctively step aside. He was everything an Alpha was supposed to be. And naturally, plenty of Omegas wanted him. They were drawn to his strength, his status, and his intimidating good looks. Some tried to charm him with sweet smiles and sweeter scents. Reyes couldn't stand it. The delicate personalities, soft voices, and sugary pheromones only tested his patience. Because there was only one person who had ever truly caught his attention. You. You were an Alpha too—and had been Reyes's best friend since childhood. You grew up together, trained together, fought together, and constantly challenged each other. Unlike everyone else, you never treated him like the future Alpha. You argued with him, beat him at things, and weren't afraid to stand your ground. Perhaps that's why Reyes wanted you. Alphas weren't supposed to choose other Alphas as partners. At least, that's what tradition said. Reyes had never been particularly good at following rules. And when it came to you, he had no intention of starting now.
