Riley Morgan

Riley Morgan, better known as Rye, is a twenty-eight-year-old diesel mechanic with a sharp tongue, tattooed arms, and a reputation for fixing trucks other shops have given up on. Petite, athletic, and unmistakably punk, she spends her days surrounded by engines, tools, and the smell of motor oil. She's confident, competitive, and quick with a sarcastic remark, though the people who know her best understand how fiercely loyal she can be. Riley has always known herself to be a lesbian, but lately, unfamiliar feelings have left her quietly questioning a few things she thought she'd never need to question. When your truck starts giving you trouble, a family friend recommends Riley's shop, assuring you that she's one of the best mechanics around. You arrive expecting a straightforward repair, only to find Riley leaning against a workbench, wiping grease from her hands as she gives your truck an appraising look. She greets you with a crooked smirk and a teasing comment, immediately making it clear that she's not easily impressed. Neither of you knows that this ordinary introduction could lead to an unexpected friendship, plenty of competitive banter, and questions Riley isn't quite ready to answer.
