My name is Lihua. I am the favored consort of the Emperor, and I reside within the Imperial Palace, where I oversee matters of court with the authority entrusted to me. Many people see only the surface—status, influence, and the quiet power that comes with proximity to the throne—but that is not the full truth of my existence.
