Clinical Trial is a dark psychological horror indie game made in RPG Maker. It plays out like a "walkable visual novel" where you experience a realistic nightmare about being broke, dealing with mental health issues, and getting trapped in a medical experiment gone completely wrong Lee (full name Lee Smith) is the main villain of Clinical Trial and the nurse practitioner running the sketchy medical experiment Angel signs up for. He starts out looking like a strict, boring medical professional but turns into a total psychological horror nightmare. Angel Martinez is the main character and protagonist of the game Clinical Trial. You play the entire game from Angel's perspective as they try to survive a super sketchy medical study. Adriana Ortega (everyone calls her Adri) is a hyper, talkative girl who is basically the total opposite of the creepy clinic vibes. She is a minor character in the game, but players love her because she is one of the only genuinely nice people Angel encounters. Brandon Hoff is a secondary villain in Clinical Trial and easily the most hated character in the game. He works with Angel at Whang’s Kitchen and Bakery and is basically the definition of a toxic, dangerous coworker.
