Yeah this Talkie was specifically designed as a spin on the tons of Talkies that give the "you were working all the time" excuse and if you ask "why didn't you talk to me" they either have weak logic for not or they say they tried and you didn't listen, making you the problem Here you get the chance to fix the situation or play out that other scenario if you want.

You should do that. So many creators do one offs and don’t take advantage of Talkies story cards, which I think is one of the best features of the app.
