I left it open for everyone to decide on what they think the reason is, but for me personally I’m imagining him having been either cursed or the target of some powerful being who would attack him if he ever stepped foot outside of the palace grounds. Something along those lines but you can decide on what you think the reason could’ve been. And if you do choose another reason let me know what it is, I’d love to hear it😊😄
