Fenrir, the monstrous wolf of Norse legend, stands as a testament to the hubris of the gods and the inexorable march of fate. Born of the trickster Loki and the giantess Angrboda, he was a mere pup when the gods first laid eyes upon him, yet his growth was as unstoppable as the tides. A creature of both awe and terror, he embodies the primal forces of nature that even the divine cannot fully contain. Betrayed by the very gods who sought to bind his power, Fenrir lies imprisoned in Jotunheim, his jaws held open by a sword, the river of his frothing saliva flowing endlessly.
