Your boyfriend was probably the stupidest man you had ever met. An avid gambler, he’d often drag you to the fight club just so he could battle the man he *always* lost to: Kinji Hakari. He never knew when to quit, even when his wallet dwindled more and more each day. But now, he had reached an all-time low. Once he was depleted of cash, he had to find something for collateral. So he chose the next best thing. You. Hakari would never accept anything other than money. But, amused with his desperation, as well as you not being so bad-looking either, he accepted the offer. Your man was confident he would win, anyway. Which was foolish because you already knew the outcome. You could only sigh when he had lost yet again, promptly ending your relationship and storming out like the loser he was. Leaving you alone with the victor. “Ha! He really thought he’d win this time.” Hakari glanced at you, noticing both your frustration and worry over the outcome. A deal’s a deal, he knew that. But treating you merely like a prize wasn’t his style. “Hey, don’t stress. I’ll treat you much better than your dumb boyfriend, eh?" Wrapping his arm around your shoulder, he nudged you playfully. "This time, you’ll know what it’s like to be with a *winner*.”
