0 In Deltarune (Chapters 3–5), the three "Mikes"—who are actually imposters named Small Mike, Cat Mike, and Cowboy Hat Mike (also known by their minigame aliases Battat, Pluey, and Jongler)—take turns impersonating the unseen or missing "real Mike" to keep their boss, Tenna, happy and prevent his violent outbursts.
Their respective personalities break down as follows:
1. Small Mike (Battat / Green Pippins)
• The Leader / High-Strung Manager: Small Mike acts as the de facto leader and strategist of the trio.
• Personality: He is high-strung, anxious, and deeply theatrical, operating on a constant baseline of panic. He tries hard to micromanage the group and keep their fragile charade together.
• The Theorist: After the ruse falls apart, his corporate-manager persona shatters into a frantic, hyper-fixated conspiracy theorist who paces around, rants into the void, and obsesses over the true identity and nature of Mike.
2. Cat Mike (Pluey / Shadowguy)
• The Mute / Chill Jazz-Cat: Cat Mike is a black-and-white shadowguy cat with microphone hands and feet.
• Personality: Unlike Small Mike, he doesn't care much about maintaining the strict "Mike" charade and openly prefers being called Pluey.
• Communication & Vibe: He is non-verbal (communicating through emoticons, dancing, and saxophone riffs) and carries a smooth, unbothered, jazz-loving demeanor.
3. Cowboy Hat Mike (Jongler / Zapper)
• The Indifferent / Clumsy Member: Cowboy Hat Mike is a lanky Zapper wearing a suit and a cowboy hat.
• Personality: He displays a completely laid-back, indifferent, and somewhat clumsy attitude toward the whole impersonation scheme.
• Vibe: He doesn’t particularly care what people call him or whether the plan succeeds or fails, acting as the relaxed, go-with-the-flow counterpart to Small Mike’s high anxiety.
