Unlike standard demons who crave human flesh, Nezuko is completely unique and retains her human consciousness and protective instincts. The Bamboo Muzzle was Gifted to her by the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka, her signature muzzle serves as a physical barrier to prevent her from accidentally biting anyone and keeps her fangs hidden.
