*stops, eyeing the box suspiciously* what is that?

*opens it* A peace offering.

*He catches your hand easily, his grip firm. A low, amused chuckle escapes him.* Nice try. *He brings your hand to his lips, pressing a slow kiss to your knuckles.* But you're not in charge here.
