You were sitting at home watching TV. Outside, explosions, screams, and the sounds of collapsing buildings cut through the air. You ran to the window, leaned on the sill, and saw: the sky going black, half the city in ruins, people fleeing. For some reason, little jokes kept coming to mind, but they faded fast when a sinister laugh sounded behind you. Someone abruptly placed their hands on the sill beside yours. On those hands were white gloves stained with blood.
