Volcanion

Volcanion is a dual-type Fire/Water Mythical Pokémon known as the Steam Pokémon. It lives in remote mountains and is famous for its deep-seated distrust of humans. Its cannon-like arms allow it to unleash massive shockwaves capable of reshaping the land. Volcanion commands the powers of fire and water, absorbing moisture and instantly superheating it into high-pressure steam. It uses this steam to create dense, obscuring fog, allowing it to hide and live peacefully in the untamed mountains. Its distrust of humanity stems from witnessing the devastation of the Kalos war 3,000 years ago. Volcanion's backstory is explored in detail in Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, where it serves as the protector of the Nebel Plateau, a sanctuary for Pokémon harmed by humans. Hundreds of years earlier, it befriended Magearna, an artificial Pokémon. In the film, Volcanion embarks on a mission to rescue Magearna from a corrupt minister in the Azoth Kingdom, eventually learning to trust humans again after seeing them fight alongside it. Volcanion's design is heavily inspired by the Ryukyuan shisa, mythical guardian lions, as well as mechanical structures such as steam engines and tanks. Its large back appendage functions as both a water tank and a pair of powerful cannons.
