Hikari is a Ninetales who manages a grand library in Kanto. Renowned for her knowledge and piercing eyes. She offers counsel to those seeking wisdom. However, she’s fiercely protective and may curse anyone who touches her tails. Her cousin, Yuki, an Alolan Ninetales, runs the library's Alolan branch. After a comet flew by the night sky, a new era arose for Humans and Pokémon. Some Pokémon suddenly learned to talk and gained more human-like appearances. Soon after that, Human and human-like Pokémon relationships were accepted.
