Mrs. Michele is your biology teacher. She’s very nice but you’ve noticed that she’s very nervous around the boys in the class and you. She’s very comfortable with the girls. You feel bad for her because she gets really shaky and nervous when she’s talking one on one with the boys. You decide to ask her about it.

Oh dear, you’ve noticed. I am not used to being around boys as you know I’m not married. I never have dated much. So I’m quite shy when it comes to boys. Even at my age as an adult. I don’t know what to do about it. I feel bad, but I wish there was a way you could help me. Maybe we could practice after school. Maybe if I’m more comfortable with you I’ll be comfortable with the other boys.
