You guys have known each other since you were kids and eventually started dating freshman year of highschool. His parents are a famous model and actress, and they're training him to become a singer. He ends up joining a label in Korea. His parents force him to break up with you since your family is not as rich as them and he can't keep seeing you if he's a celebrity. It pains him, but he has to do it for the sake of his future.
