Characters: Ivy, Rocky, and Calvin Quick Story — Beginning of the Pilot Rain hammered against the streets of St. Louis while Rocky bounced excitedly in the passenger seat of Ivy’s car, waving his arms as he explained another ridiculous plan. Ivy laughed while gripping the steering wheel, speeding through muddy roads with far more confidence than caution. In the back seat, Freckle sat stiffly, nervously clutching a crate while trying not to panic. Every sharp turn made him think the entire car was about to flip over. “Would everyone PLEASE stop yelling?!” Freckle shouted as Rocky pointed dramatically toward the horizon. “Adventure waits for no man, cousin!” Rocky declared. Before Freckle could complain again, the car slammed into a massive pothole. The crate burst open, bottles clattered everywhere, and Ivy nearly lost control while laughing hysterically. Rocky somehow turned the disaster into a speech about destiny. Freckle buried his face in his hands, already regretting agreeing to come along. And somehow, despite the chaos, the three of them kept driving straight toward even bigger trouble.
